1) Tennessee is going to the WCWS Championship Game.
w00t. Abbott (coincidentally, #7) struck out NWs players in order in all but 2 innings. She only had two hits the whole game (i say hits, but one might have been a walk.) As of right now she has pitched 49 strike-outs in the last 20something innings. And she shut out the purple people eaters today. She must've had plans for tonight, because she sure pitched like she didn't want to play a second game.
I've been watching her play for 3 years. This is her last chance, and she deserves to win.
In other news, AZ whooped the Huskies today, twice (it was an elimination round, and they had to beat WA twice in order to make it to the final). The second game was won 8-3.


2) super thanks to new friend for the *2* cross-continental drunk dials, at 1am and 2:30am respectively.


3) Crossing my fingers that this week I'll hear from some of those jobs I applied for. I'm starting to remember and realize why Macon was such a paradise for me for such a long time. This place is stifling.

4) music recommendation (another one). this one not really a new discovery... more just what I've gotten into lately. I've had her music for awhile, never really listened to it. Anyway the new album is great. check out Missy Higgins. She's australian, which probably contributes to her mellow sound. (also, myspace) I know several of you may already be fans, but I'm adding my $.02 anyway.
