For all of you in DC and surrounding areas -
YogaActivist.org is holding a fundraiser in the Red Room at The Black Cat on September 11th, and my infamously awesome yoga instructor will be the DJ. Donation of $8 (it's a fundraiser, it doesn't work if you get in for free you know).
YogaActivist.org is an up and coming collaborative that aims to bring yoga and yoga programs to diverse communities that don't usually have access to it. The belief is that yoga is for everyone, and that the skills people learn and use in yoga can benefit them in all aspects of their lives.
